Nice to meet you—

Friends and peers call me MJ.

  • I grew up in Massachusetts, but life has brought me to Texas. 🤠

In addition to my UX/UI Design certification, I’ve also had a chance to explore content design and writing, further shaping my approach to creating meaningful experiences.

In my past life prior to design, I worked in healthcare, where empathy, critical thinking, and collaboration were essential. The skills and insights I’ve gathered through my career journey allow me to offer a unique perspective to projects I participate in.

  • I’m in the process of shaping my design philosophy as I continue growing in my career.

I enjoy the challenge of simplifying complex workflows, using thoughtful problem-solving to bring clarity to complexity. My goal is to continue refining this skill and continue evolving as a designer.

As a natural empath, I always try to consider perspectives beyond my own. I recognize that I won’t always get it right, which is why I value collaboration, diverse perspectives, and the iterative process. A good brainstorming session always leaves me feeling energized and inspired. 🤓

  • I try to spend a lot of my time soaking up every bit of design magic I can find — whether it's in what I see, hear, or read. But when I’m not, I love trying new foods and exploring thoughtfully curated spaces such as a charming cafe, a museum, or a quirky gift shop, especially when travel is involved! 🧳
